What to Expect:
On a Tanzanian safari, expect excellent accommodations, including hotels, lodges, and deluxe tented camps. Meals feature delicious local and international buffet-style cuisine with ample dietary options, sometimes including picnic lunches. Drives between national parks can last up to six hours with wildlife viewing en route on both paved and bumpy, dusty roads. Temperatures are cool in the mornings and evenings, and warm or hot midday. Participants must be able to step into 4×4 vehicles and board small aircraft. Good physical condition, flexibility, and a spirit of adventure are essential for enjoying this journey.

Flights depart the US on March 4, 2025 and arrive in Arusha on March 5, 2025.
The main tour starts on March 5, 2025 in Arusha with an evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Tour End Details For Air Arrangements:
Flights may depart Arusha anytime after 9 PM on March 15, 2025.
If taking the optional Rwanda Pre-tour extension:
Flights depart the US on March 1, 2025 and arrive in Kigali, Rwanda on March 2, 2025.
The Pre-tour extension starts on March 2, 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda with an evening arrival at Kigali International Airport. (The flight from Rwanda to Tanzania on March 5 is included in your tour).
