What to Expect On a Tanzanian safari:
Expect excellent accommodations, including hotels, lodges, and deluxe tented camps. Meals feature delicious local and international buffet-style cuisine with ample dietary options, sometimes including picnic lunches. Drives between national parks can last up to six hours with wildlife viewing en route on both paved and bumpy, dusty roads. Temperatures are cool in the mornings and evenings, and warm or hot midday. Participants must be able to step into 4×4 vehicles and board small aircraft. Good physical condition, flexibility, and a spirit of adventure are essential for enjoying this journey. 

Pricing: $7,742 per person in a double room OR $8,542 in a single room

-Transportation in 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roof and guaranteed window seat

– Maasai Village Visit 
– Olduvai Gorge lecture and museum entrance fee 
– All activities and game drives as described in the itinerary

Start Details For Air Arrangements:
Flights begin to depart the US on February 26, 2025 and arrive in Tanzania on February 27, 2025. The main tour starts on February 27, 2025 in Arusha with an evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. 

IF you are taking the optional Rwanda pre-tour, you should depart the US on February 23, 2025 and arrive in the evening on February 24, 2025 at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. (The flight from Rwanda to Tanzania on February 27 is included in your tour).

Tour End Details For Air Arrangements:
The main tour ends on March 8, 2025 at Kilimanjaro International Airport, for evening flights departing 9 pm or later and arriving back in the USA on March 9, 2025.
